Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI – SHIMLA
Arrive at Delhi airport / railways station, meet and greet by ITM representative. Our representative will explain the tour scheduled in detail and handover all the tour related documents to you. Later straight drive to Shimla, Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts. On arrival Shimla check in at hotel. Overnight Shimla.
Day 02: SHIMLA – EXCURSION TO KUFRI
After breakfast excursion visit to skiing resort of Fagu and Kufri. This romantic honeymoon trip adds special memories for young hearts in the valleys of Shimla. In the afternoon visit the Jakhoo Hill. It is the highest point in Shimla and offers a spectacular view of the town, hills and distant mountain ranges. The peak has a temple dedicated to the Lord Hanuman. In the evening we visit the Mall and Scandal Point for shopping. Scandal Point is the hub of Shimla’s social life and is said to be so named after a British Commander-in-Chief’s daughter eloped from the spot with the Maharaja of Patiala. Overnight Shimla.
Day 03: SHIMLA – KULLU – MANALI
After breakfast drive to Manali, on the way visit Kullu Valley on your way. Take a glimpse at the verdant fields and the orchards of apple, cherry and plum. Kullu Valley is often considered as the abode of God and is replete with pictorial locales. The town is also well known for Dusshera Festival. After exploring Kullu move on to Manali and check into a resort as you arrive for an overnight stay.
Day 04: MANALI
After breakfast visit the Jagatsukh Naggar Art Gallery, Hadimba Devi Temple and The Tibetan Monastery before proceeding to Vashisht village, just outside Manali, across the river Beas, known for its hot sulphur springs whose water is said to have curative properties. Evening free to relax at hotel. Overnight Manali.
Day 05: MANALI – EXCURSION TO ROHTANGPASS
After breakfast excursion visit to full day excursion of Gulaba, Marhi, Solang Valley and Rohtang pass ( Rohtang Pass is high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas ). Evening return to hotel. Overnight Manali.
NOTE: Rohtang Pass visit is subject to weather condition.
Day 06: MANALI – CHANDIGARH
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh, Chandigarh, derives its name from the Chandi Mandir temple located in the vicinity of the city and a fort or ‘garh” beyond the temple, called Chandigarh. Chandigarh is a union territory, administered by the Government of India and was designed by Le Corbusier. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at Chandigarh.
Day 07: CHANDIGARH -DELHI DEPARTURE
After breakfast visit Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden, Elante Mall and Rose garden. Later continous drive to delhi and drop airport / railway station for your onward with the happy memories of your tour and our services.
