Day 01: DELHI – DHARAMSHALA
Arrive at airport / railways station, meet and greet by ITM representative. Our representative will explain the tour scheduled in detail and handover all the tour related documents to you. Later straight drive to Dharamshala, Dharamshala has one of the most spectacular settings for a hill station as it varies in height from 1200 m. to 1800 m. Dharamshala is split into two parts. The lower part is only known as Dharamshala and is about 9 kms away from the upper part only known as McLeodganj. In Dharamshala there is a strong Tibetan influence. The Dalai Lama settled here after the Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1959. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight Dharamshala.
Day 02: DHARAMSHALA – MCLEODGANJ – DHARAMSHALA
After breakfast, check out from hotel and go to full day sightseeing and visit Kangra Art Museum, church, Lake and Namgyal monastery at Mcleodganj. This monastery is the major attraction in Mcleodganj and is located on the opposite side of the Dalai Lama’s residence. This monastery contains large gilded bronzes of Buddha, Avalokitesvara and Padmasambhava. Evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: DHARAMSHALA – DALHOUSIE
After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Dalhousie, Dalhousie is a beautiful hill station in Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 1854 by the British as a summer retreat for its troops and bureaucrats, and was named after Lord Dalhousie who was the British Viceroy at that time. Dalhousie is located on the western edge of the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas, and surrounded by the beautiful snow capped peaks. On arrival Dalhousie check in hotel. Afternoon go for half day sightseeing visit Subhas Baoli, St. John Church, St. Francis Church, Lake Museum and local market free from shopping ( own cost ). Evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: DALHOUSIE – EXCURSION TO KHAJJIAR
After breakfast enjoy full day excursion of Khajjiar. Khajjiar is a hill station of chamba district. Explore full day in Khajjiar enjoy all the sports activities (direct basis). Evening return to Dalhousie and visit and local market free from shopping (own cost). Overnight stay at Dalhousie.
Day 05: DALHOUSIE – CHANDIGARH
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh, Chandigarh, derives its name from the Chandi Mandir temple located in the vicinity of the city and a fort or ‘garh” beyond the temple, called Chandigarh. Chandigarh is a union territory, administered by the Government of India and was designed by Le Corbusier. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at Chandigarh.
Day 06: CHANDIGARH – DELHI
After breakfast visit Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden, Elante Mall and Rose garden. Later continous drive to delhi and drop airport / railway station for your onward with the happy memories of your tour and our services.
