Day 01: ARRIVE TRIVANDRUM

Arrive at Trivandrum airport, Trivandrum the capital of Kerala is located at the west coast of India, with trading traditions dating back to 1000 BC. On arrival meet and greet by ITM representative and transfer to hotel. Where our representative will assist you to check in at hotel and later explain the tour scheduled in detail and handover all the tour related documents to you.

After freshen up visit Trivandrum includes visit to Padmanabhaswami Temple, Srichitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum and Zoo. Overnight Trivandrum.

Day 02: TRIVANDRUM – THOTTAPALLY – ALLEPPEY

After breakfast drive to drive to Thottapally and board a houseboat, Alleppey is one of the popular backwater destinations of India. It is one of the picturesque towns filled with canals, backwaters, beaches and lagoons. You have to check in houseboat for next 21 hours. You have to visit all the places to the houseboat. Overnight stay at Houseboat.

Day 03: ALLEPPEY – KUMARAKOM

After breakfast disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is the famous backwater tourist destination and most fascinating paradise in Kerala. The backwaters in Kumarakom houses a variety of fauna, flora and marine life. Enjoy your overnight stay at the resort in Kumarakom.

Day 04: KUMARAKOM – THEKKADY

After breakfast and check out from the hotel drive to Thekkaddy, Thekkady is a naturalist’s paradise of unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. It has unspoilt tropical forests and incredible wealth of animal and plant life. Thekkady is well known for the Periyar National Park and the elephants are the major attractions here.Than proceeds to Thekkaddy Sightseeing destinations include Periyar wild life sanctuary where you can see wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more, mullaperiyar dam (you can watch all these only while doing boating in the Lake) You can watch martial arts, kathakali, elephant ride, elephant bath, tribal dance, musical fountain and can go for ayurveda massages (all are optional activities with separate entrance fees). Evening check in hotel, Overnight Thekkady.

Day 05:  THEKKADY – MUNNAR

After breakfast drive to Munnar, Munnar is a beautiful hill resort situated in the cradle of tea plantations. Munnar, the queen of hill stations is located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, along the western Ghats on the eastern border of Kerala and was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns and winding lanes make this a popular resort. On arrival Munnar check in hotel, overnight stay at Munnar hotel.

Day 06: MUNNAR

After breakfast proceed for full day Munnar visit Rajmalai, the top peak of Munnar and Mattupetty. Rajmalai is the natural habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr, located about 15 km from Munnar. Half of the world population of the rare mountain goat, which is becoming extinct, is now found here. Mattupetty is located about 15 kms from Munnar and known for its highly specialised dairy farm – the Indo Swiss Livestock project, tea estates, eco point, spice plantation, rose garden, photo point, honey bee tree, tea museum, blossom park, kundale dam and top station. Evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 07: MUNNAR – COCHIN

After breakfast and check out from the hotel drive to Cochin, Cochin is also known as the queen of the Arabian Sea. Cochin is the most interesting town in South India at Malabar Coast and also known as Venice of South.

On the way visit Cheyyara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Attukadu waterfalls etc. On arrival Cochin check in hotel, overnight Cochin.

Day 08: COCHIN

After breakfast visit St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. After the visit of St. Francis Church we have a walk through the Jewish area of Mattancherry. In the evening we visit a Kathakali dance school. Kathakali dances originate from Kerala and in its traditional form relates stories from the Hindu epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. Overnight stay in Cochi

Day 09: COCHIN – KOVALAM

After breakfast drive to Kovalam, Kovalam Beach where you can relax on the silent beaches, take a sun bath or swim or undergo a rejuvenation at the Ayurvedic Treatment Centre at Kovalam.

Day 10 – 16: KOVALAM

Day 10 to 16, you can have the Ayurveda treatment as advised by the Doctor in the Ayurveda Resort in Kovalam.

Note: Ayurvedic Treatment programmes in Kerala can be arranged for 7, 14 and 21 days as per your requirements and convenience.

Day 17: KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM

After breakfast driver to Trivandrum, on arrival Trivandrum transfer to the Airport to board on flight for your onward destination with the happy memories of your tour and our services
