Day 01: ARRIVE AHMEDABAD

Arrive at Ahmedabad airport, meet and greet by ITM representative and transfer to hotel. Where our representative will assist you to check in at hotel and later explain the tour scheduled in detail and handover all the tour related documents to you.

Ahmedabad, in western India, is the largest city in the state of Gujarat. The Sabarmati River runs through its center. On the western bank is the Gandhi Ashram at Sabarmati, which displays the spiritual leader’s living quarters and artifacts. Across the river, the Calico Museum of Textiles, once a cloth merchant’s mansion, has a significant collection of antique and modern fabrics. Overnight Ahmedabad.

Day 02: AHMEDABAD

After breakfast proceed full day sightseeing of Gujarat visit Hathee Singh Jain Temple. This temple is dedicated to Dharamanath, the 15th Jina or Jain apposite. This temple is one of the best ornated Jain temples in Ahmedabad and is built of pure white marble and decorated with rich carvings. Later we visit the Jama Masjid. Jama Masjid was built in 1423 by Ahmad Shah and described by some as the most beautiful mosque in India. This mosque is believed to have been constructed from the items salvaged from the demolished Hindu and Jain temples. After visiting the mosque we visit the Calico museum of textiles. This museum is widely regarded as one of the finest textiles museums in the world, started in Calico Textile Mill. This museum of textiles has excellent exhibits of antique and modern textiles including rare tapestries, wall hangings, costumes and old weaving machines. Overnight Ahmedabad.

Day 03: AHMEDABAD – JAMNAGAR

After breakfast drive to Jamnagar. On arrival Jamnagar visit Lakhota Lake & Lakhota Museum. & Bala Hanuman Temple known for its nonstop Ramdhun since 1956 and it mentioned in Guinness Book of World Records. Evening explore local market. Overnight Jamnagar.

Day 04: JAMNAGAR – DWARAKA

After breakfast and check out from the hotel drive to Dwaraka. Dwarka is an ancient city in the northwestern Indian state of Gujarat. It’s known as a Hindu pilgrimage site. The ancient Dwarkadhish Temple has an elaborately tiered main shrine, a carved entrance and a black-marble idol of Lord Krishna. Dwarka the ‘Lord of Dwarka’, also known as the Jagat Mandir or temple of the world. Dwaraka Beach and nearby Dwarka Lighthouse offer views of the Arabian Sea. Southeast, Gaga Wildlife Sanctuary protects migratory birds and endangered species like the Indian wolf. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight Dwaraka.

Day 05: DWARAKA – PORBANDAR

After breakfast visit Dwarkadhish temple. This temple was constructed over 1400 years ago and houses the image of Lord Krishna. This temple attracts pilgrims from all over the world. Besides the Dwarkadhish temple there are various other temples in Dwarka like the Rukmani temple. This temple belongs to the wife of Lord Krishna. After visiting the temple we drive to Porbandar. Porbandar is a picturesque old sea port situated on the western coast of Gujarat. Porbandar was the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi. Later continue drive to Porbandar is a coastal city in the Indian state of Gujarat, perhaps best known for being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and Sudama. Overnight Porbandar.

Day 06: PORBANDAR – SOMNATH

After breakfast visit Kirti Mandir – the place where Gandhiji was born and Sudama Temple – The only Sudama Temple in the world, Later continue drive Somnath. On arrival visit Somnath Temple. This temple is one of the twelve most sacred shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva and a jyotirlinga. According to the legend, Somnath temple was built originally in gold by Somraj, the moon god. This Somnath temple was rebuilt and destroyed seven times till 1706 when it was raided by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. After that it was finally rebuilt in 1950 with the support of Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel. Also visit Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sagam, Geeta Mandir Chopati. Overnight Somnath.

Day 07: SOMNATH – DIU

After breakfast and check out from the hotel drive to Diu. Diu is a coastal town at the eastern end of Diu Island, India. A bridge connects the island to the state of Gujarat. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Diu Fort, a 16th-century Portuguese citadel, features a lighthouse and cannons. Inland, centuries-old St. Paul’s Church was built in elaborate baroque style. Nearby, whitewashed St. Thomas Church is now home to the Diu Museum, with wooden carvings and religious artifacts. On arrival Diu visit Bunder Chowk, Fort, Panikota, St. Paul’s Church, museum,Nadia caves etc), Evening at leisure at beaches, overnight at Diu.

Day 08: DIU – SASANGIR – JUNAGADH

After Breakfast and check out from hotel, and drive to Sasangir. Sasan Gir, is the sole home of the Asiatic lions and is considered to be one of the most important protected area in Asia due to its supported species. Later continue drive to Junagadh is situated in the Saurashtra region at the foot of the temple-studded Mount Girnar, on the northern fringes of the Gir forest. The city takes its name from the fort that enclosed the medieval town. In the evening arrive in Junagadh. Overnight Junagadah.

Day 09: JUNAGADAH – AHMEDABAD / DEPARTURE

After breakfast visit Mount Girnar. Mount Girnar is one of the hills which is most sacred to the Jain community. Various Jain temples and Hindu temples are located on the Girnar hill which is more than 60 m in height. One of the largest and the oldest, 12th century temple dedicated to Neminath is situated on this hill. Besides this, the Bhavnath temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the temple of Amba Mata are also situated on this hill.

Later continue drive to Ahmedabad. On arrival Ahmedabad our driver will drop you to Airport / Railway Station to catch flight / Train for onwards destination with the happy memories of your tour and our services.
