Day 01: ARRIVE SRINAGAR

Arrive at Srinagar airport, Srinagar has been described by some visitors as the Venice of the East. This beautiful city was established by Emperor Ashoka some 2300 years ago. A unique charm of Srinagar is its 1300 or more houseboats, the floating little hotels on the edge of the Dal Lake. On arrival meet and greet by ITM representative and transfer to your hotel. After freshen up visit Mughal gardens, Chesma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Bliss), Shalimar (The Abode of Love). Evening you will visit, shikara ride in world famous dal lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar in Houseboat.

Day 02: SRINAGAR

Today after having breakfast we drive to visit the famous Mughal gardens in Srinagar which are Nishat Bagh (the garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (abode of love). These gardens are situated on the banks of Dal lake. Nishat Bagh is the larger of the two gardens and has an impressive plantation of Chinar trees on its highest terrace. Both the gardens are built on a symmetrical plan of central waterways with fountains dividing a series of gardened terraces. Night stay at Hotel in Srinagar.

Day 03: SRINAGAR – KARGIL

After breakfast drive to Kargil. On the way we will cross Zoji La pass which is situated at a height of 3529 mts. Zoji La marks the boundary between Kashmir and Ladakh. This pass is sometimes blocked by snow each year. On Zoji La pas there is one way traffic, so we have to wait for traffic controller announcement for crossing Zoji La. In the evening we reach Drass which is the second coldest inhabited places in the world. After reaching Drass we drive further towards Kargil. Kargil is situated in Suru Valley where the Suru river flows and meets the Indus at a place called Marul. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight Kargil.

Day 04: KARGIL – EXCURSION TO SURU VALLEY

Day 05: KARGIL – SRINAGAR

After breakfast drive to Srinagar. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the nature surrounding. Overnight Srinagar.

Day 06: SRINGAGAR – EXCURSION TO GULMARG

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg, Gulmarg the meadow of flowers. The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating. In Gulmarg you would be able to find European surroundings and 18-hole Golf Course. During the British Raj, Gulmarg hosted the Britishers and Europeans and these Britishers created a European hill resort.

Drive via Tangmarg, Enroute Apple Orhards, Cherry Orchards and Strawberry fields. In Gulmarg visit Khilanmarg and take a ride in worlds highest cable car “Gondola” or enjoy your day by playing golf in the world’s highest golf course. Evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight Srinagar.

Day 07: SRINAGAR – EXCURSION TO SONMARG

After breakfast excursion visit to Sonmarg for a day trip. The drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonmarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4 Kms from Sonmarg, a local taxi has to be hired for it. The name Sonmarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold”. Evening return to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 08: SRINAGAR / DEPARTURE

After breakfast transfer to airport for your onward destination with the happy memories of your tour and our services.
