Kedarkantha is a mountain peak of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. Its elevation is 12,500 ft. Kedarkantha is located within Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarkashi district. The climb to the peak of Kedarkantha starts from a small village called as Sankri. Kedarkantha trek are the beautiful campsites, snow-covered pine forests, 360-degree view of the mountains and the chance to stand on top of one of the easiest trekkable peaks in the Himalayas. The total Kedarkantha trek distance is 23 Kms.
Day 01: Delhi – Dehradun.
At Evening, meet ITM Holidays representative and proceeds to Delhi. Overnight Journey.
Day 02: Dehradun – Sankari.
Meet ITM Holidays representative at early in the morning at Dehradun. Fresh n up in hotel and take breakfast. Then, drive from Dehradun to Sankari, it will take around 7-8 hours. On the way you visit Mussorie. On arrival Sankari check in at your Guesthouse. Overnight stay at Sankari.
Meals : Breakfast & Dinner.
Day 03: Sankari – Juda Ka Talab (4 Km trek, Altitude 9100 ft.)
Wake up early morning take your breakfast and get ready for your trek. The trek will take up to 5 hours to complete total distance. Juda Ka Talab is a frozen lake that is enchanting campsite which is encircled with pine and oak trees and mountain slopes. Overnight stay at Juda Ka Talab.
Meals : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 04: Juda Ka Talab – Kedarkantha Base Camp (3 Km trek, Altitude 11250 ft.)
Wake up early morning, take your breakfast and get ready for your trek. The trek will take up to 4 hours to complete total distance.
The scenic beauty of the trail & the rewarding view of mighty Kala Nag, Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch keeps rejuvenate the hikers.
Overnight stay at Kedarkantha Base Camp.
Meals : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 05: Kedarkantha Base Camp – Kedarkantha Summit and descend to Hargaon (6 Km trek, Altitude 12500 ft.)
Wake up early morning, take your breakfast and get ready for your trek. The trek will take up to 8 hours to complete total distance. Reach summit to witness the glorious sunrise at the peak, which turns mighty peaks into glittering Golden colour. At the peak you will enjoy the spectacular view of the Dhauladhar range, Chainsheel Pass, Har ki Dun valley and Rupin valley.,Swargarohini, Black Peak and Bandarpoonch. Spend some time at Summit & later re-trek back to Hargaon. Overnight stay at Hargaon.
Meals : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 06: Hargaon – Sankari – Haridwar (6 Km trek)
Rise with the sun and take in the splendour of the Himalayas. We will start our descent to Sankri and time to goodbye Hargaon campsite.
The trek will take up to 5 hours to complete total distance. Overnight stay at Sankari.
Meals : Breakfast and Dinner.
Day 07: Haridwar – Delhi
After breakfast check out from hotel and time to say Goodbye and drive back to Delhi.
Meals : Breakfast.
