Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI – AGRA
Arrive at IGI Delhi airport / New Delhi railways station, meet and greet by ITM representative and transfer to hotel. Where our representative will assist you to check in at hotel and later explain the tour scheduled in detail and handover all the tour related documents to you.
Delhi, India’s capital territory, is a massive metropolitan area in the country’s north. In Old Delhi, a neighborhood dating to the 1600s, stands the imposing Mughal-era Red Fort, a symbol of India, and the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, whose courtyard accommodates 25,000 people. Nearby is Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops and spice stalls.
After wash & change at hotel Proceed for Delhi Sightseeing drive past Parliament house, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb. Evening explore local Market. Overnight Delhi.
Day 02: DELHI – AGRA
After breakfast & Check out from the hotel drive to Agra. On arrival visit . One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal is actually a mausoleum that is completely made up of white marble. It was built by the great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a UNESCO world heritage site and is a true example of Islamic style of architecture.
Agra fort, which is also a UNESCO proclaimed world heritage site. This Mughal fort was built in red sandstone and has many intricate structures like Diwan-I-Am and Diwan-I-Khas in the interiors of it. If you wish, you can visit Itmad-ud-Daula’s tomb in the evening. It is a wonderful mausoleum that is often considered as mini Taj or Baby Taj. Overnight Agra.
Day 03: AGRA – GWALIOR
After breakfast drive to Gwalior. Gwalior’s strategic position between North and South India has made it’s Fort an important possession and it was captured by several ruling houses. Some left almost as soon as they came, while others stayed on to build and beautify the citadel. On arrival visit Gwalior fort, which is one of the largest forts in India. Seek blessing at Vishnu temple which was built long back in the 11th century. Overnight Gwalior.
Day 04: GWALIOR – ORCHHA – KHAJURAHO (ABOUT 276 KMS)
Today early morning we leave Gwalior and proceed to Khajuraho. On the way to Khajuraho we visit Orchha. visit the popular temples in Orchha such as the Ram Raja Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple.. These temples were built by Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th century. After the visit of Orchha we proceed for Khajuraho. Arrival in Khajuraho in the late evening. Overnight Khajuraho.
Day 05 : KHAJURAHO – JHANSI – DELHI (TRAIN)
After breakfast & check out from the hotel visit world heritage sites of Khajuraho. Divided into eastern and western group of temples, known for its cluster of Hindu and Jain temples. visiting Laxmi & Varha temples, Kandariya Mahadev temple and Devi Jagdambi temple. Also visit Kandariya Mahadev temple is one of the largest Hindu temples in Khajuraho. It is famous for its stone carvings, the numbers of which count more than 900.followed by visit to Devi Jagdambi temple is a group of 25 beautifully decorated temples. These temples were built during the Chandella dynasty rule in India (10th-12th century) and are famous for erotic carvings.
Later drive to Jhansi to board on train to Delhi. On arrival Delhi, meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight Delhi.
Day 06: DELHI / DEPARTURE
Morning after breakfast transfer departure to airport to board on flight to Delhi. On arrival Delhi transfer internally from domestic airport to international to board on flight for your onward destination with the happy memories of your tour and our services.
