Day 01: ARRIVE SRINAGAR
Arrive at Srinagar airport, Srinagar has been described by some visitors as the Venice of the East. This beautiful city was established by Emperor Ashoka some 2300 years ago. A unique charm of Srinagar is its 1300 or more houseboats, the floating little hotels on the edge of the Dal Lake. On arrival meet and greet by ITM representative and transfer to your hotel. After freshen up visit Mughal gardens, Chesma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Bliss), Shalimar (The Abode of Love). Evening you will visit, shikara ride in world famous dal lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar in Houseboat.
Day 02: SRINAGAR – GULMARG
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg, Gulmarg the meadow of flowers. The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating. In Gulmarg you would be able to find European surroundings and 18-hole Golf Course. During the British Raj, Gulmarg hosted the Britishers and Europeans and these Britishers created a European hill resort. In Gulmarg while walking along the circular path you only have to look down to have a complete view of the valley and Srinagar.
Drive via Tangmarg, Enroute Apple Orhards, Cherry Orchards and Strawberry fields. In Gulmarg visit Khilanmarg and take a ride in worlds highest cable car “Gondola” or enjoy your day by playing golf in the world’s highest golf course. Evening check in hotel. Overnight Gulmarg.
Day 03: GULMARG – PAHALGAM
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR
After breakfast, check out from Pahalgam and drive to Srinagar. en route to Srinagar visit to Awantipora and Pampore a very beautiful and mesmerizing place for leisure and nature lovers. These places are famous for ruins and Golgen fields of Kashmir (Saffron Land) Overnight stay at Hotel/ houseboat.
Day 05: SRINAGAR – EXCURSION TO SONMARG
After breakfast excursion visit to Sonmarg for a day trip. Enroute see Hazratbal Shrine, Gagangir Tourist Village. The drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonmarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4 Kms from Sonmarg, a local taxi has to be hired for it. The name Sonmarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold”. Evening return to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 06: SRINGAGAR / DEPARTURE
After breakfast transfer to airport for your onward destination with the happy memories of your tour and our services.
