Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI – BAGDOGRA (FLIGHT) – DARJEELING
On arrival at Bagdogra meet and greet by ITM representative. Our representative will explain the tour scheduled in detail and handover all the tour related documents to you. Later straight drive to Darjeeling. Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature charming Himalayan people. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight Darjeeling.
Day 02: DARJEELING
Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast followed by Half day best point local sightseeing covering Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center and Rock side. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight Darjeeling.
Day 03: DARJEELING – EXCURSION TO MIRIK
After breakfast excursion visit to Mirik, drive through scenic roads with occasional stoppage for photography, Mirik is centered round Sumendu Lake and is known for its landscaped gardens, tea gardens, orange orchards, cardamom groves and spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges. Full day excursion of Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boating facilities is available around the lake This high altitude lake is worth visiting One can also visit Pashupati Market in Nepal on the way back to Darjeeling. Evening free to roam around the Hotel / Resort or Mall or the Local market area. Overnight Darjeeling.
Day 04: DARJEELING – KALIMPONG
After breakfast drive to Kalimpong, another quiet hill station in Eastern Himalaya. Kalimpong is famous for its Orchids & Nurseries and some of the rarest cacti & Orchids can be seen. Oak, Maple and Chestnut stretch up the ridge as far as the eye can reach. Check in at the hotel, After a short break & Lunch at Hotel we followed half day sightseeing in & around Kalimpong covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dong Palri Fo-Brong Monastery and flower & Orchid Nursaries and Kalimpong Market. Overnight at hotel in Kalimpong.
Day 05: KALIMPONG – GANGTOK
After breakfast and check out of from the hotel and drive to Gangtok. On the way view scenic and the journey will be soothing due to the greenery. Gangtok the capital of Sikkim Sikkim is the 22nd state of India which has twice bagged the best tourist destination state. This tourist hotspot suits guest of all ages The diversity is from tranquility to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals at an height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful town with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center. Overnight Gangtok.
Day 06: GANGTOK
After breakfast full day city tour of Gangtok, visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Banjhakri Falls, one of the finest falls close to Gangtok.
Evening back to hotel. Later free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center – There are few discotheques in Gangtok to spend time. Overnight Gangtok.
Day 07: GANGTOK – EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR
Morning breakfast at hotel, excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir ( New ) nearly 40 kilometers – The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep, Generally covered in snow for most of the year the year.This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds – Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all – Nathu La Pass to Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers and is optional tour – Back to Gangtok – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center. Overnight Gangtok (Incase of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided).
Day 08: GANGTOK – BAGDOGRA / DEPARTURE
After Breakfast drive to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport for onwards destination with the happy memories of your tour and our services.
