Day 01: ARRIVE SRINAGAR
Arrive at Srinagar airport, Srinagar has been described by some visitors as the Venice of the East. This beautiful city was established by Emperor Ashoka some 2300 years ago. A unique charm of Srinagar is its 1300 or more houseboats, the floating little hotels on the edge of the Dal Lake. On arrival meet and greet by ITM representative and transfer to your hotel. After freshen up visit Mughal gardens, Chesma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Bliss), Shalimar (The Abode of Love). Evening you will visit, shikara ride in world famous dal lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar in Houseboat.
Day 02:SRINAGAR – EXCURSION TO GULMARG
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg, Gulmarg the meadow of flowers. The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating. In Gulmarg you would be able to find European surroundings and 18-hole Golf Course. During the British Raj, Gulmarg hosted the Britishers and Europeans and these Britishers created a European hill resort.
Drive via Tangmarg, Enroute Apple Orhards, Cherry Orchards and Strawberry fields. In Gulmarg visit Khilanmarg and take a ride in worlds highest cable car “Gondola” or enjoy your day by playing golf in the world’s highest golf course. Evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight Srinagar.
Day 03: SRINAGAR – EXCURSION TO PAHALGAM
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. Later return back to Srinagar. Overnight Srinagar.
Day 04:SRINAGAR – EXCURSION TO SONMARG
After breakfast, excursion visit to Sonmarg for a daytrip. Enroute see Hazratbal Shrine, Gagangir Tourist Village. The drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonmarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4 Kms from Sonmarg, a local taxi has to be hired for it. The name Sonmarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold”. Return to Srinagar in the evening after enjoying your day. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 05: SRINAGAR – EXCURSION TO YOUSMARG
After breakfast, Drive to Yousmarg. Yousmarg is approximately 50 km from the Srinagar and lies in the Badgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The two-hour drive to the place is an enjoyment in itself. Grassy pastures stretching to acres of land, the dense forests full of pine trees, with the backdrop of splendid snow-capped mountains leave you almost speechless. Within commutable distance from Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir, Yousmarg is the perfect place to go for a picnic. Specially, for the lovers of long walks in picturesque locales, Yousmarg is the place to be. In evening back to Srinagar. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 06: SRINGAGAR – EXCURSION TO VERINAG
After breakfast proceed excursion visit to Verinag. The Verinag Spring, named after Nila Nag, the son of the famous Hindu sage Kashyap Rishi. The spring, which was originally shaped in a circular form was given a change of shape during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1620, when he gave orders to renovate the spring in the Mughal traditional shape of an octagon. Today, picturesque in its settings and surrounded by tall Pine trees, the Verinag Spring is characterized by waters which are calm and sparklingly clear.. In the evening back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 07: SRINAGAR / DEPARTURE
After breakfast transfer to airport for your onward destination with the happy memories of your tour and our services.
