Day 01: ARRIVE COCHIN – MUNNAR
Arrive at Cochin airport, meet and greet by ITM representative, where our representative will explain the tour scheduled in detail and handover all the tour related documents to you. Later drive to Munnar, Munnar is a beautiful hill resort situated in the cradle of tea plantations. Munnar, the queen of hill stations is located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, along the western Ghats on the eastern border of Kerala and was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns and winding lanes make this a popular resort.
On the way visit Cheyyara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Attukadu waterfalls etc. On arrival Munnar check in hotel, overnight stay at Munnar hotel.
Day 02: MUNNAR
After breakfast proceed for full day Munnar visit Rajmalai, the top peak of Munnar and Mattupetty. Rajmalai is the natural habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr, located about 15 km from Munnar. Half of the world population of the rare mountain goat, which is becoming extinct, is now found here. Mattupetty is located about 15 kms from Munnar and known for its highly specialised dairy farm – the Indo Swiss Livestock project, tea estates, eco point, spice plantation, rose garden, photo point, honey bee tree, tea museum, blossom park, kundale dam and top station. Evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 03: MUNNAR – THEKKADY
After breakfast and check out from the hotel drive to Thekkaddy, Thekkady is a naturalist’s paradise of unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. It has unspoilt tropical forests and incredible wealth of animal and plant life. Thekkady is well known for the Periyar National Park and the elephants are the major attractions here.Than proceeds to Thekkaddy Sightseeing destinations include Periyar wild life sanctuary where you can see wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more, mullaperiyar dam (you can watch all these only while doing boating in the Lake) You can watch martial arts, kathakali, elephant ride, elephant bath, tribal dance, musical fountain and can go for ayurveda massages (all are optional activities with separate entrance fees). Evening check in hotel, overnight Thekkady.
Day 04: THEKKADY – KOVALAM
Post breakfast drive to Kovalam, Kovalam beach is located about 16 kms. from the city of Trivandrum. This internationally renowned beach resort has been a favourite place of tourists since 1930. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The southernmost beach is known as the Lighthouse Beach and is the most popular beach. On arrival Kovalom check in hotel evening you will be visit and enjoy Sightseeing light house beach, Howah Beach and local market. Overnight Kovalam.
Day 05: KOVALAM
After Breakfast proceed for full day tour and visit Ashoka Sree, Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace museum, The Napier museum, Sree Chithra art gallery, zoological park, science and technology museum, Kanakakunnu Palace, planetarium. Evening return to hotel, overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: KOVALAM – ALLEPPEY
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Alleppey. Alleppey is one of the popular backwater destinations of India. It is one of the picturesque towns filled with canals, backwaters, beaches and lagoons. You have to check in houseboat for next 21 hours. You have to visit all the places to the houseboat. Overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 07: ALLEPPEY – COCHIN / DEPARTURE
After breakfast disembark from the houseboat and drive to Cochin, Cochin is also known as the queen of the Arabian Sea. Cochin is the most interesting town in South India at Malabar Coast and also known as Venice of South. On arrival Cochin visit St. Francis church, the oldest European church in India, where the famous sailor Vasco da Gama was buried and Museum, Fort and Chinese fishing Net. Later transfer to the Airport / Railway Station for your onward destination with the happy memories of your tour and our services.
